(sorry it cut off the other guy, he had Q3 OFFSOOT, and called my PREFLOP raise.)
((reminds me of someone I know...))
lololooo I just looked back now and saw that his Q3 was sooted. oooopsiess.

Re: absolutely ridiculous
When I get blasted like that it sits in my mind for 2 or 3 days.
I keep replaying it.
Could have I played it different.
Could I have not played so strong and lost less.
Could there ever be a time when the Suck outs get what they deserve.
Could I Should I Would I ..................
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrg .........
I feel your pain .....
A Statistical Win is what I keep telling myself.
I won.
But I lost.
It seems the more hands you play the more often you get the pleasure of feeling the massive suck outs.

Absolutely ridiculous... okay.. but brutal comes to mind also .. lol! Sounds like you had the nuts until the river again.. LMAO!
Hey... but WOW! What a bad beat... tough one to take Nic. If you play enough hands.. you'll see even worse. Might not seem like it now... but eventually.. it WILL happen. No escaping them... just hope it doesn't cost you the 'ol arm and a leg when it happens.

Re: absolutely ridiculous
That's a little harsh, I'm not sure what you mean by another guy having Q3o but unless you checked the option I can't see why this guy was in the hand to begin with. Not only that, looking at the board texture and the likelihood of you possibly connecting with that flop (especially if you raised) was probably pretty good. Another donkey with his time to shine, Tilt has way too many of them.

All those girls ganging up on you at once.
4 Lovely Ladies join Nic at the table.
And Nic isn't happy.
What gives Nic.
How often does someone get a chance like that?
Sounds much better when you spin it in a different light.
Sorry just trying to take away the sting.

Re: absolutely ridiculous
I can only say that I had one worse than that some years ago, live at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. It was a 5-10 limit table, and I was holding my own for about an hour. I was not UTG but close (UTG+1 or 2) , and I got JJ dealt to me. I raised, and a fellow that was sitting in the cut-off spot re-raised me. I went ahead and called. The flop was J 10s 9s. I flopped a set. Cool. I bet,and the guy raised me again. I'm thinking K's or A's...hoping not AKs...but I confidently called. The turn was the case J. Ive got the nuts quads of J's, so I checked. The guy bet. I raised. He reraised, so I called. Now I'm thinking he probably hs KQ, probably spades. But then I started to think,Maybe the guy has a set of 10's or 9's and I didn't want him to fold out. River comes, and it comes 6 s. Now I am thinkin, what are the odds...so, I bet. The guy raises...and I looked at him very carefully. He told with the slightest little grin. I called. What he turned over (7s 8s) split us a bad beat jackpot of 14K and change, which netted me 3/4's and him 1/4. We both tipped the dealer handsomely and gave a 100 dollars to each player at the table. I didn't mind giving up that and walking out richer than I had in some time at a casino. It was the biggest win of my life...and it came on a hand that I got beat on.
That's why I play live poker at casinos any chance I can get. I have won two jackpots in my career, the other at a lowball casino in Carlsbad (Ralph and Eddie's...it no longer exists) where I was dealt 5 facecards playing 5 card draw lowball. I had to play the hand out stand pat and call all bets, but that got me 500 dollars, again for getting beat very badly.
Bad hands and bad beats happen all the time. I have lost when I thought there was no way to lose, and won when I couldn't dream of winning. It's poker. Nuff said.
