JJ against A3 all in preflop

Ok i just don't get it, i limped in the pot, and this guy was the 2nd from the dealers button, and he raises 20x BB which was at 10-20, everyone folds, i go all in over the top, he instantly calls me, im thinking he got a bigger PP, but he turns over A3 and everything was fine till the dame river, when a stinking A comes out, mi baffled my the idocacy, but then he makes fun of me, w/o me saying a word and talking how much better he is then m,e blah, blah, and then says haha i knew that A was coming that's why i"meaning him" bet it, so i sat there with about 400 chips left and 4 hands later he's at it again, and a bigger stack calls him, same hand same result, altho the bigger stack had 99, i just don't get it!
