Monthly "Top Posters" Contest for Cash

As if meeting new friends, talking poker, and getting free advice weren't incentive enough to post on the Donkhard Forum, I am going to sweeten the pot!

How's this sound? ~~I'll give $5.00 to whoever puts up the most posts each month, effective immediately!~~ The Top 10 Posters each month will get to play in an exclusive 10 player freeroll!

Because the contest restarts from 0 every month, everyone's got a shot to win this thing, so get start getting those quality posts up now. Even just 3 or 4 good posts a day can put you in contention to take the cake!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Anyone posting very short replies or topics or just Spamming the forums will be disqualified. I'm looking for meaningful, thought provoking posts.

The post counts for this contest will reset each month. This is not a contest of overall posts (bummer because I'd be winning ), but of the top posters each month separately.
The winner for each month will be paid out the following month.
The winner may choose which poker room they would like to receive their $5, but since I am paying the winner out of my own pocket, it will have to be a poker room where I have a real money account. The choices as of right now are: Full Tilt, Pitbull, Cake, Doyle's Room, Carbon, BetUS, or PokerStars. I will select a poker room where the freeroll will be hosted. I will try to mix it up a bit and give us a variety, and of course I'm open to suggestions.
All admin decisions are final.

top poster rewards sounds like an awesome program...and 5 bucks for 1st place even cooler yet....but i,m looking at this 7-2 ranking next to my name and wondering....can posting do anything about that?i mean 5 bucks is cool...but i,ll post anyway...its my way of contributing to my community....but i,d go the extra mile to rid myself of this godawful 7-2 ranking...can posting help that?

But seriously. TBD This is an awesome ideam sadly there is no way we could compete with the likes of dij on this one, but fair play to the guy, he likes to post!

Very nice promotion! So is it technically possible for someone to get 12 consecutive monthly top poster prizes (to put forth an extreme example)? I was just reading Jeester's reply and wondered if some people might feel defeated before even starting? I think it's a nice friendly competition regardless and hopefully it'll be good things to come!

lol ... though, moral of the post: don't worry about the number of times you're posting, or status cards for a poker site. keep it focused for the beneficial and everything else will happen when possible.

and do the amount ofthought used in the post count?words used?or simply just asking and answering questions with out it just being simple one liners>?doesnt matter...as long as posting will cure the dreaded 7-2 then i wont have to resort to extreme measures,,,i,ll write you guys as soon as i hit a pair

chefjimmy i see u dont like players only too much it is not a bad site as far as bad beats all the sites have them lets talk full tilt i for 1 just a cant seem to get any where on that site and have been playing and watching all the funky turn and river stuff that goes on but that is an opinion of mine. and just wish on players only the tuesday freeroll was earlier dang got to work at 3 am but gl .

So currently, TBD and dijwaila have a fullhouse as their member rank. What are the odds of someone else beating their boat with a four of a kind or a straight/royal flush? Or for that matter, I wonder if one of us can get there before them? Anyone up for this challenge? Cool

I agree with no aimlessly posting, but let's say that people begin to post more in general. The more topics there are the easier it is to up the post count. The unfortunate thing is that I haven't played too many games recently so I don't have much to post about apart from a few games I partake on a weekly basis.

That said, I was donking around yesterday on Bodog's $500 public freeroll and wound up as much as 100,000 chips and made ITM. I regret it though since I stayed up til 2:10am EST!
