My trip to the casino

Well for my anniversary i took the wife to mountaineer,we played a $65 buy in, there were only 42 people in it,you could add on 2000 chips for $5.00 I didnt add on (cause im too cheap) I think everyone else did but anyways it paid top 5 my wife and I both made it to the final table. My bb i tried to bluff after the flop i had open ended sraight i raise 15000 the biotch went all in i was pot comitted and new i was beat but being the donk that i am i called she had a set 5s so my dumb a$$ bubbled it and the wife took 4th she got $205 then off to the slots and blackjack We had a great time

Sounds like alot of fun. The tournament turned out to be profitable between the 2 of you, that's always a plus. Does your wife play poker as often as you? That's a good finish. Tell her I said congrats on the cash. Your finish deserves a congrats as well. Making the FT is solid. Of course I'm sure you would rather have cashed, but speaking as someone who's busted many, many bubbles in the pursuit of 1st place I say hey, you gotta do what you gotta do to win. If you've got over half your stack in already, I can't see folding a primary draw, unless somehow you're still way ahead of the blinds, which is pretty unlikely. Good game to the both of you.

So how'd you guys do on the slots and blackjack? I've never had any luck on those games myself. Had a couple of good runs on craps and roulette, though.

sorry about the bust, but glad for your wife making to the money, sounds like you had a great time anyways after that, unless all your winnings went to the dreaded quarter eaters.....
