Music Guessing Game

Thought I'd try a whole new thread about music. I'm sure everyone listens to it. Here's how this will go. I'll give you some lyrics to a song and then you guess who is the artist and the name of the song. If you guess correctly then you start a new song. Lets see how long we can keep this going. I'll start with a super easy one so you can get the gist.
Lyrics:
On a warm summers eve on a train bound for nowhere.
Who is the artist and what is the song title.
Should be guessed very quickly. Question

Aah! Some poker music! Very nice. I'm going to have to say "The Gambler" and that's Kenny Rogers I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

In case I'm correct, I'll post another. I'll stick with the same themes... great country artists & gambling, and I'll keep it easy:

Right answer. I probably should know the one you just did as I listen to country all the time. can't guess. I'll probably recognize it after someone else guesses. lol.

Holy I thought I knew country. I think maybe I just know the old ones. This must be newer. The words sound familiar but again I'm drawing a blank. My hubby plays a lot country music on his guitar but he couldn't figure it out either. Guess I'm not very good at my own game. lol Embarassed

I don't think this one was new. Anyway jimbeam77 got it right in a chat a little while ago. He said he didn't like country and wasn't gonna post George... LOL! It was

Real old one... before my time lol...should be easy though.......
