Yep it is just great! I want to congratulate TheBigDonk for a year online. I can just imagine all the time and effort it has taken to put this all together! This a great poker forum to be a part of. It's a poker community of the very best quality. You should be very proud TBD! Keep up the good work and I am proud to be a part of this Donkhard family!

Wow, good to see this forum still running for a year, I can see how good it is, since i joined.

its been a great year belonging to Donkhard, many tournaments, good people, and great topics. thanks Big Donk for putting together a great forum.looking forward to another great year.

This has been quite an exciting year. It's been alot of fun watching Donkhard grow up from 0. I remember back in the old days when I used to be able to come on every day and actually be able to read every new post... both of them. lol. Now I constantly find myself stumbling across new posts that I didn't even know were here.

The very best part of it all for me has been the friends I've met here. Getting together for our regular games and chatting it up here on the forum has always been a blast for me. Every day I look forward to getting caught up on all that is going on with you guys. I find myself wondering at random times throughout the day how Jim is doing on the blackjack tables ( ) or how many final tables Philly has made today.

As for the next year, Donkhard will be closing it's doors soon. Ha ha. Just kidding! We plan to be around for as long as the internet keeps running! We've got some new ideas in the works that should hopefully unfold over the next year. I'm hoping to learn enough about programming to automate a leaderboard system and bring that back into play. I'd also like to add a "staking" section to our forum. And maybe I'll actually get around to awarded NOT a crown sometimes this year.

What I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for is the possibility of awarding some donkhard members with some WSOP tickets for 2010, but that's going to depend on how well I can do at the poker tables this year. I've divided up my bankroll in my BR management sheet to now include 3 categories: Poker Money, Spending Money, and Donkhard WSOP Money. Of course I'd like to be able to do Main Event seats, but if not I'd like to at least be able to do some smaller buy-in games with travel and accommodations. I think it would be alot of fun if we can get at least a few of us together in person. Fingers crossed for a kick-donkey year at the tables!

good investigation work nick, hope i don't ever get on your bad side. i have only been playing online the last 5 months, assumed the forum was older than that. congratulations tbd on the success and continuing success of building this great forum. like you i have also met some great people here and enjoy seeing them succeed and grow as players. there are a few here that if they continue the paths that they are on will be able to supplement their income by playing poker, something i would like to do also. can't wait to be there everytime one of you takes down a big score to help celebrate, thanks for making the forum feel like home.

Sounds really exciting TBD! Looks as though your dream is growing! I hope Donkhard becomes all you want it to be. You are a class act! That being said... I think it's an understatement. Thanks for all you do.

CONGRATS TBD on ONE YEAR in the making. The Forum is looking awesome and you got some great members here. Always a pleasure to play, chat, and reply to all I know here and hope to get to know and play against. CONGRATS & HAPPY ANNIVERSIARY to Donkhard forum and to The Big Donk!!! I myself just passed my one year of finding and becomeing a online Poker player tho it wasn't till last september that I really started to play on a almost daily basis rather than 3-4 times a month.( spring/summer is not my indoors months )so I'm still learning and finding the good spots to play...I've only been a member here a very short time but I like this little cyber spot and the freerolls and peeps here are cool too ,I try to stop by whenever I can (like now before I headout to the Ports Party street of bars,resturants,cruise ships and lovely happy girls )so again CONGRATS!!!!.....keep up the good work and I'll see ya'll on the tables or a beach somewhere! Salainte ya'll !!
