T.B.D.'s Goodbye

As most of you know, I will be leaving Donkhard for a while to serve my country in the Army. So everyone knows, it will be business as usual here at Donkhard in my absence. My beautiful and awesome wife, Mrs. Donk, has graciously volunteered to take over my spot as Forum Admin while I'm gone. I hope that everyone here treats her as well as you all have treated me over this last year or so.

Truth be known, I will miss you all and think about you guys and this place every day. Slyone66 had a great suggestion, that we have a big "Welcome Home" game for me when I return. I think that's an awesome idea, so we'll do just that!

Anyhow, everyone please continue to be kind to eachother while I am gone, as you all have been doing all along. I am looking forward to playing with you all again soon. Take care and good luck at the tables everyone.

And to the small and elite group of poker playing, loyal members who take the time to visit the Donkhard Forum boards and chatroom regularly, we all owe you a huge thank you! You may not realize it, but it is you who makes Donkhard the great place that it is. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your informative and educational posts, your poker tips, your stories of success and your monumental failures, the hilarious and oftentimes foul jokes in the Jokes & Humor section, the music such as Bye Bye Bankroll, and the interesting link to excellent poker articles, unbelievable YouTube videos, and other neat and interesting things you all have found around the web... undoubtedly while websurfing during a game of poker!

I don't say bye TBD; I say till we meet again. Me and my family will be praying for you and all the rest of the military and families serving our great country. I knew this day would be here soon and I hope the day you return comes even faster. You are the anchor and heart of Donkhard. It's going to be difficult to imagine Donkhard without you TBD. This isn't goodbye though... it's just a temporary hiatus. I know that Mrs. Donk will do a great job here at Donkhard while you are away. I give you both my prayers, well wishes, and support during your service to our great nation. If Mrs. Donk needs any help or support while you are away... please don't hesitate to ask. I will do my best to help out in any way if I can.

I thank you for your service, TBD. It seems like very little to offer for all the sacrifices that you and Mrs. Donk make at this time of our country's need, but know this... I think I speak for a good many here at Donkhard when I say that we couldn't be more proud to know you, TBD. Mrs Donk, our thanks, well wishes, prayers and hearts go out to you also at this time.

I don't know if I have earned the right to consider myself a part of the elite group of poker playing, loyal members here, but in time I hope I shall be considered in said group. Many members come and go or are just here for the FreeRolls. That's not me, I'm here because it's a great place to hang out with a super bunch of players in a Fantastic Forum that is run by TBD. Don't worry about the Site, We have your back. Everyone will all RESPECT the Mrs. Donk, I promise you that.
