Hope everyone has had a very Merry Christmas this year. Here is a story I thought you should all hear!

Twas the night before Christmas and all thru the house
not a creature was stirring except for my mouse

I was on my computer clicking that mouse
folding, checking ,and raising my full house

When all of a sudden there came such a clatter
it came from the roof I said whats the matter

I looked back at my computer and low and behold
there were 2 black aces looking beautiful like gold

To hell with the noise this is my spot
if I play these right I'll win a HUGE pot

I put in a nice raise and was surprised to see
that 3 other players were calling me

The flop came out and I came alive
rainbow ace then a four and a five (A 4 5)

The 1st player leads out and the 2nd player folds
and the 3rd player ALL his chips he unloads

What a HUGE pot> It's Mine> I'm ALL IN!!!
I move the mouse over with a shit eating grin,

But before I could click and commit all my chips
a voice rings out from an old man's lips.

"You're beat son, you have to lay that hand down"
On his face no emotion.... not a smile or a frown

ARE YOU NUTS? I scream back... Fold top set !! no way!!!
"You will go broke if you don't"... was all he could say

Then it hits me, OH NO!! ....The huge pot....It's my turn!!!
As they timed out my aces I started to burn

Well the hand played out and I watched with a shiver,
a nine on the turn and a queen on the river (A 4 5 9 Q)

I was so angry at this man for what he had done,
He cost me a fortune and ruined all my fun

So I turned around to scold him but he was not there
gone in a flash disappeared into thin air.

Looking back at the showdown my eyeballs popped out
the hands are flipped over and I hear that voice shout,

"Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night"
"By now ho ho ho you know I was right"

He shouts to his reindeer and they're off you see
The 3rd player's hand was a two and a three(23)

happy belated xmas all, was gone all day at the relatives house. what a zoo.LOL glad it's only once a year. pockets are sticking out like two rabbit ears after this one.
