Full Tilt's Updated Interface
So as some of you may already know, Full Tilt upgraded some of their software the other day (in fact, they closed all tables/games/scheduled tournaments) for 90 minutes and disconnected all members to accomplish this feat. Some of the new featues include:
- Revised table views
- A thorough hand history + upgraded hand replayer
- New card deck color options (one black Full Tilt card, one blue Full Tilt card, two casino style cards, one red, one blue)
- Cards themselves have been remodeled slightly (seem to be a little blurrier and not as defined as previous ones)
- New games added include '7-game' (NLH, PLO, LH, Stud Hi, Stud Hi/Lo, Omaha Hi/Lo, Razz)
- Modified table views with originals still available
- Tournament lobbies slightly modified to appear more clear and attractive (no, breasts and booties are not in the background, much to my chagrin)
- When sitting at a table, the 'options' tab now pops up with a friendlier user-interaction in regards to actions taken (table views, etc.)
These are just a few of the changes I've noticed, I'm surely missing a couple more.
My question to the Donkhardians here is this:
How do you personally like the upgrade they've made? I appreciate things like the hand replayer and such, but I can't help but find myself wishing they would have kept it the same as it was. But alas, we must learn to let certain things go and appreciate the new gifts we've been given, so it's probably only a matter of time before it becomes customary to me.
But how about you?

Re: Full Tilt's Updated Interface
From 1 to 10
The new Replayer gets a 10.
The new card look (Big #'s small suits) gets a 2 >> Then with trial and error I found that if you enlarge the table to a slightly larger size the cards are back to the old look. Card look now gets a 9.
Table needing to be larger gets a 5.
Most the other features are improvements or break evens in my opinion.
I don't think the designers of the layout play Multi Tables.
Why has the $dollar amounts been so impossible to read on the [Call] and [Rasie] buttons?
Is it just me ??

Re: Full Tilt's Updated Interface
not sure if its just me but tilt has been running slow since the upgrade. i loved when they updated the break feature for multitablers, best upgrade any site has ever did in my opinion. i don't care for any of the new updates so i'm giving 2 thumbs down, i'll take the older version personally.

Now that you mention it.
It is slow and locked up twice yesterday.
I still like the replay upgrade.

Re: Full Tilt's Updated Interface
Ok
Lets revisit this thread.
The new interface has been in play for a bit.
Who is using the new Lobby portion of it?
I have reverted back to the original style because of lock ups and very slow response.
Is anyone else still using the new style Lobby and have the bugs been fixed?
As far as the table portion of it I think most things have evened out.
And it is what it is.
Not Bad.
Again I still like the Replayer.
Very cool.
