Has anyone told you today that Like a Star @ heaven THE DODGERS RULE Like a Star @ heaven ? Even after their loss to the (blech) Giants last night 7-6, I still think that the Dodgers are in line for taking the NL West. The best part about last nights game was when the skipper, Joe Torre, got ejected for backing up one of his players, Blake, who had moments earlier also been ejected for calling a call "Bullshit" Even though the Dodgers lost, it was a game in the tradition of the grand rivalry that these two teams possess. Tonight's game will undoubtably prove more of the same.

I've got to say. The best MLB games to watch are always the Giants/Dodgers games.

Once again...Will they take their division? After last nights shutout of the Giants, their 9th of the year, (they lead the NL in shutouts, by the way) they still remain only one game back of the Diamondbacks. Their 2-0 defeat may be disputed in a court of opinion, but even if the Blake double and the Ethier run was not counted, and the tag at home had been an out...it still would have been a 1-0 shutout! And how about the Dodger bullpen being 0 for 25 in the last 2 games? They have not allowed a hit in 2 games. And still the question needs to be asked, have you heard today that Like a Star @ heaven THE DODGERS RULE! Like a Star @ heaven

Just in case you don't know it, the L A Dodgers have acquired Manny Ramirez from the Boston Red Sox in a trade involving 3 teams. He may be the piece of the puzzle that will land them into victory in the N L West division. More to follow. Oh... Like a Star @ heaven THE DODGERS RULE Like a Star @ heaven

since the all star break the NL West is gaining a better set of records for their top two teams. The Diamondbacks and the Dodgers now both boast .500+ records. And with the aquisition of Manny Ramirez to the Dodgers, they have pull within .5 a game behind Az. They beat their most hated rivals, the SF (blech) Giants tonight, 6-2. Penny posted the win.

Have you heard today the DODGERS RULE!!

after a hard time with an 8 game losing streak, the Dodgers have now reversed the trend and have come up on an 8 game winning streak, including a sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks that landed them in a 1.5 game lead in the National League West. They travel to San Diego fo a 3 game series today, and if they can keep up their present pace, they should be able to win the NL West and go to the playoffs in Oct. LET's GO DODGERS!!

The Los Angeles Dodgers have done it. They took the 2nd game at Wrigley field in a monstrous 10-3 victory over the Cubs tonight. They now lead the NLDS 2 games to none, and will be returning to Los Angeles for game three of the series. For a team that trailed a majority of the year in their division, they have taken a commanding lead in this series, and have quieted the nay sayers with consecutive victories. L. A. Dodgers Razz On ESPN the morning of the first game, the prognosticators were talking about a Cubs sweep of the series, and the Dodgers may have just swung this to be an exact opposite.

THE DODGERS RULE! !

OK...this thread was started last year, and is now in need of some updates for the new year. As anyone who has their head out of the sand knows, Manny did return to the Dodgers. And they are hot. Sitting on top of the National League West with a 7-3 record, completing a sweep of their rivals the giants, and with a 5 game winning streak under their belts, I am seeing a Dodger team that may well be the winners of the NL West this year. It is very early in the season, but they do look good. Going to Colorodo tonight to face the Rockies. GOOOO BLUE!

L. A. Dodgers 125x87_dodgerlifeWho would have believed that the Dodgers would have the best record in baseball coming into June. That is not their usual scenario. They dont often come alive until after the all-star break. But with a 36-18 record to date, and leading their division by a firm 9 games already, the boyz in blue are doing a very handsome job of dominating the National Leauge West. And the greatest thing about it is that they are doing it without the help of Manny (50 game suspension) Ramirez. Once again...this is a team sport. And like everyone else, I was a little worried when their star player was benched. But as the record shown, the Dodgers have more substance than one batting machine with dred-locks. So, as I say from time to time, have you heard lately that THE DODGERS RULE???

Been a while since I posted in this thread, but with a win over the Giants tonight (4-2) It is a good time to revive this particular thread. I also was happy to see the Angels win tonight, especially since I had a 2 game parlay on my favorite free sports betting site (see the link below). I have my hopes set on a freeway World Series, but really only the Dodgers are important to go in my book. How in the world can they not. Their pitching continues to be awesome, and their offense is still amongst the best in baseball. LET'S GO BOYZ IN BLUE!

No doubt about it from me.. Dodgers are probably the best team this year! I'm still hoping my Cubs can overcome the constant parade of injuries this year and come out on top in the Central Division... I definitely have my doubts about that.. everytime they get someone healthy... then another top player or starter goes down.... HELP! LOL!
