Kentuckiana... lol. i like it.
i used to live in a little place called Mt. Pleasant, IL...don't know if you ever heard of it. We used to have to drive over to Evansville whenever we needed a dose of civilization.
Now i'm in California.....geez what a different world out here.
Hope to see you around. Good luck at the tables.

Hey there DizzyDog,

Nice to meet ya. Very Happy Yep, I have heard of Mt. Pleasant. I went through there once or twice, it's bigger than the town I am in. I used to head over to Evansville every now and then too. I liked going to Casino Aztar and usually had decent luck there, unlike Caesars that is just 12 miles from me....figures....lol.

California...yep...that's a whole different world. I am jealous.
See ya around. Good luck to you too. Very Happy

Did you actually stop off in Mt. Pleasant or just pass through? Strange how small this big world really is....wonder if we ever ran into eachother out there and don't even know it.

California is awesome! So many big casino and big games to play. i've actually got to play with some of the TV pros at games in L.A.....and then with reno and las vagas right close buy....oh dont even get me started. i'm having a blast.

Thanks for the welcome konawajim. Very Happy

DizzyDog,

We just passed through going from Paducah to either Carbondale or Marion on that trip. This is a small world though. I have an ex I was friends with for a long time that I helped move to Reno and I liked it there. I really love Lake Tahoe and the Truckee River area. Those places are so beautiful and so much fun.

That is so cool that you get to play with pros and have so many great places
to play. I am glad that you are having a great time. Catch ya later.
Very Happy

How long ago did you come out to Reno? Did you go downtown and play any poker?
i go up to Reno alot. There's 3 hotels up there that comp the rooms whenever i go. If you ever go out there again....maybe we should meet up and play some poker. They have some pretty loose games at the El Dorado and the Peppermill.
Tahoes awesome. Beautiful place....and they've got some of the best snowboarding anywhere....it's probly my favorite place in the world to go injure myself. hahahaha

Hello from Kentuckiana, U.S.A. Empty Hey DizzyDog

Post by Aintryte Thu Aug 14, 2008 9:30 pm

Hi,

I am sorry, I just looked back in here tonight. I am such a fish here. D'oh!

My last trip to Reno was in July of 2001. I would love to go back but it
will probably be a while. I did have some luck at the Peppermill but I did
best at Fitzgeralds'. The tables and slots were loose there that week.

"Tahoes awesome. Beautiful place....and they've got some of the best snowboarding anywhere....it's probly my favorite place in the world to go injure myself. hahahaha"

lol...you crack me up. Snowboarding? That is so cool. My only athletic talent in the snow is making snow angels. Pretty safe though. haha

If I do make it out that way into civilization again it would be cool to meet up
and play a few games. Very Happy

The Peppermill is awesome.... they just recently redid the whole gaming floor....looks nothing like it used to. They also built a new tower of luxury suites that are off the effin hinges..... we got to stay there for real cheap when they first opened the tower to promote it. The fitz is a good place to make moneu....the've got some of the loosest slots on the strip.... and they just put in a poker table there. Thats one of the hotels that gives me free rooms when i go.
when u were there did you ever eat at that little diner in back of the nugget? if not you gotta try it out the next time you're out there.... order the awful awful burger....by a mile the best damn burger i've ever had in my life....i get it everytime i go.
but ya if u ever do head out there agin let me no....ill roll out there for sure...i pretty much like any excuse to go to reno/tahoe/vegas.
snow angels...thats an olympic sport now...did you know that? lol ok i think i probly babbled on for long enough now....gotta go get ready for the horse game. c-ya round.
