Re: Online Poker Vs Live Poker
If you play live, you have undoubtedly experienced how slow the games
can be. You will play an average of 20-30 hands per hour in live games,
whereas online, you usually play an average of 70 -100 hands per hour.
Thus by playing online, you more than double your hourly rate.

Re: Online Poker VS Live Poker
very good question. i'm mostly an online player and love the comfort of the couch and some cigarettes. being able to multi table and not have to wait for a slow dealer are also great in my book. best of all is the fact that there is an endless supply of money to be made if you are a good player. plus side to live is the comraderie of playing with friends and family, cracking jokes and talking about stuff from our past. every time i step into a casino i still get the tingles, don't know why i'm same way with sporting events, online will never give me that feeling. so i would have to say i enjoy live better but play online because i feel this is where i'm improving my game and putting myself in position for the big score.

Re: Online Poker VS Live Poker
I like online much better, but I like the way the cards run slightly better live.
I live in Vegas, unless it is a decent tournament, the world series of poker. It is the internet for me all the way, and internet games are much harder.
Take it from Phil Galfond.
He was on Highstakes poker, against the best in the world and he said it was like a 5/10 online game, toughness wise.
The problem with live cash games I get bored very easy, I am used to playing 6- 12 windows at once, or just sitting in a big tournament and watching a movie. More importantly I don't have to watch drunk guys calling dealers names.
Live can be a great way to play and sometimes it is, but I will take online poker over brick and morter casino games any day. But it's really about what I can make the most money playing, right now it is online, but if a soft game comes up live, I'll be there.
