TRips good or bad ?

Somtimes having trips is a good and somtimes its a bad thing Seems today was not my day as I went broke . I hit top set 2 and push all in after the flop as there was a open ender on board. Just curious if this was a good or bad move or should i have waiteid for him to chase and if he got it folded it down ? but it was freeroll winnings so thats the good thing about it came 4th in a tourny yesterday out of 200 . good luck on the felt even on the off days .

anytime you have the made hand and are pushing the draw hand your going to come out on top in the long run...its just simple math odds of hitting the oesd to the trips are 74.1 to 25.9 in favor of the trips...itsa no brainer...sorry it missed
