POKERSTARS $3,500 PPA FREEROLLS

Dear chefjimmy,

The Poker Players Alliance (PPA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the game of poker (online and live), its integrity and the rights of American poker players.

Help them to stand up for your game by supporting and signing the PPA Petition, which will be presented to President Barack Obama. To thank you for your support, you’ll receive a ticket to take part in one of the special PPA Petition Freerolls* at PokerStars. The freerolls take place each Saturday between June 27-July 25.

Prize Pool: $3,500 per freeroll
Where: Tourney > Special tab in the PokerStars lobby

As if joining the PPA and supporting online poker isnt its own reward...pokerstars is offering 3,500.00 freerolls just for you to join in...now that is awesome!

Hey Chefjimmy Thats soo cool.. glad a poker site has steped up to really show some leader ship on the matter of online poker, I have posted the link on every forum I belong to and did get a good responce but this will really bring it to the front.. thanks Razor.

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that this email is legitimate, and we stand by the PPA on this
issue.

To sign the petition, you and your friends can go to:

http://pokerpetition.com/pokerstars/

You will then be credited the ticket to participate in any one of these
freerolls within 48 hours, as long as you use the same email address as the
one on your PokerStars account when signing.

In your case, this would be 'someguy@yahoo.com'.

i got the e mail yesterday myself and signed the petition, now waiting for pokersters so i can register in the tourneys. also got another e mail from PPA today and added them to twitter. hey at least someone out there is looking out for our rights. that a great thing for online poker players

FullTilt also has a popup on their site, same $3500 freerolls.

Every one should sign this whether you can play in the tourneys or not. Full tilt has them listed too, wouldn't doubt it if all the us sites carry it, although I'm not sure if players will be limited to one tourney on one site or one tourney on each site?

You could probably be shady and sign up with different emails. But, your email for fulltilt or pokerstars would likely have to change.

Is anyone else having trouble getting into these $3500 freerolls?

I signed the petition yesterday and received an e-mail confirming I was eligible for the Full Tilt freeroll. Today, I receive a second e-mail telling me the previous e-mail was sent in error and that I was not eligible for their $3500 freeroll.

u can find a link to the petition on full tilt on the cashiers screen by clicking on promotions then scroll down to find the link it will take 2 days for full tilt suoort to e mail u a link to sign up so far each tourney registering has over 10,000 entries

Any other sites anyone knows about besides Cake/FT/Stars?

I signed it.. but never got a email saying I could play on poker stars. But I tried and it let me so you might now get an email but it should let you.

i didnt get email to confirm but got my ticket so gl all play tight lots of donkin early

Not cool to enter in more then one of these PPA FreeRolls.

What if they are sent in with your name in multiple times.
Don't you think that degrades the value of your signature and shows lack of class.

Just my thoughts.

Out of curiousity, why were so many Russian/Chinese/German and other non USA players playing in these tourneys?

I don't want to make waves, just curious :-)

The table I was at had mostly Russians, and only one other player
from USA

I came in 8th so not complaining about the results :-)
