i don't live in california but i would be shocked if every casino there didn't have cash games. i have never seen a casino offer tournys and not cash games so pick whichever one you want and have a good time. best of luck on the tables, try to figure out which players are the sharks and stay away from them.

Are you looking for NorCal or SoCal?
In NorCal, off the top of my head, I can think of Thunder Valley Casino (Lincoln), Cache Creek (middle of effin nowhere), Lucky Derby (Citrus Heights), The Phoenix (Carmichael), Jackson's Rancheria (Jackson), RedHawk (near Beale AFB), Garden City (San Jose, Cupertino Area), and Bay 101 (San Jose), which has the highest stakes games out of those mentioned.
In SoCal, you'll find a better selection of higher stakes games. I honestly can't think of a cardroom in SoCal that doesn't offer ring games. One of my favorites to play if the Bicycle. You'll run into lots of big names if you play there often. Some pretty hefty stakes get going on the weekends.

From what I can recall the Indian (native american) P>C> casinos in the desert Palm Springs Ect. all have cash game tables to play holdem on most of the time u will have to put your name on a waiting list for a seat but try late at night around midnite for a seat to be open

Extreme Southern California you got The Mill Casino just outside of Coos Bay along with lots of other stuff to do with the family. I know they have holdem tourneys small fields and cash games.

Yes in California
Almost all Indian Casino's do. The Jackson Rancheria in Jackson California offers cash games and freerolls. Last summer they offered a freeroll which gave away a few tickets for the WPT.
