Final Table at Power Poker $50 Freeroll 05-27-10 Final_26

Made another final table at the Power Poker $50 freeroll. Finished 7th out of 92 for $1.88. Was in 4th position when I got A,9 spades and the flop came 8s,Ks,Ah. Chip leader raised all in. I decided to make the call.. with top pair.. 9 for my kicker and the flush draw... he had A, 10 off.... I hit nothing lol. Didn't want to hang around and finish maybe 4th or 5th.. so I went for it... was it a bad play?

I like the strategy and time/value reasoning in a freeroll...obviously would have not put a lot of trust in 9 kicker in money tourney... good job

Nothing wrong with going for it, especially against the big-stack that could be playing LAG. You make your decisions and let the cards fall as they may.
