Crashing Airline (Do not read if you are sissy la la)

(This is just a funny joke. Nothing else intended other than to share a laugh.)

An international flight was returning to America. Still flying over the ocean, as they approached the states the plane begins to drop in altitude and jerk around in turbulance. Oxygen masks drop from the overhead compartments and panic fills the air.

"Attention passengers, this is Don, your pilot. I regret to inform you that we are experiencing severe mechanical difficulties and have lost the use of two of our engines. The plane can be landed safetly if enough weight is dumped. We came up a little short after emptying the cargo. The only way any of us will survive is if we a few people will volunteer to jump as well. Unfortunately, the parachutes were dumped with the cargo. Do we have any volunteers?"

The plane went dead silent.

"Ok. We thought this might happen so we came up with the fairest way to choose who will jump. We are going to start naming off people beginning with the letter A and work our way up the alphabet until the plane is down to a safe landing weight. For those of you who are called we would like to thank you for the sacrafice you are about to make. Let's take a moment for a silent prayer."

Silence.

"Ok, starting with the letter A; is there any African Americans on board?'

Silence.

"OK, is there any blacks on board"

Silence.

"Is there any colored people?"

In the front row a little boy nudges his father next to him and whispers, "Dad, aren't we all three of those?"

"No. Today we are Negro's letting the Mexican's go first."
