Favorite Vegas Casino?
So out of curiosity, do you have a favorite casino in Vegas? I've been there twice and hope to go back there again soon. In my last visit, my friend and I ended up casino hopping down the Strip. We didn't play at every single casino but racked up a dozen plus players club cards.
Anyway, I enjoyed the MGM Grand/Luxor last time around but if I go back with more money, I'd love to spend some time at the Bellagio. But I think I'll avoid the poker room there - I'll need a bit more seasoning before I step foot there!

Re: Favorite Vegas Casino?
I spend the summers in Vegas dealing at the WSOP. (I had to take this summer off due to ownership change at tmy work. ) While I am there I absolutely love to play at the Gold Coast, next to the Rio. The people there are terrific the early morning breakfast is great and I always had a blast. Last year I split my drink on one of their card shufflers, shorted it out and they just quickly replaced it and ordered me another drink. My least favorite was the luxor.

Wow, dealing at the WSOP - sounds exciting! Out of curiosity, does dealing at the WSOP qualify you for the Casino Employees NL Hold'em that occurs after the Main Event?
I'll have to check out the Gold Coast if I can get down there somehow. I can see how the Luxor would be the least favorite for some - my friend and I ran into a few dealers that were rather rude. But my friend and I enjoyed it simply because we were staying there and didn't have to walk too much to get to the casino floor and the tables weren't too expensive.

mine is the Stratosphere. they had a pretty decent head shop last time i was there. Plus they had a McDonald's and I'm all about a tasty double quarter pounder. But NOTHING compared to the fountains at the Belligao. Simply awesome.

Yes it does qualify you for the employees tourny. Up until this year it was always held on the first day, which I usually ended up dealing for it. This year it was one of the last so we could make arrangements if we wanted to play in it.
