my wife an i
well guys i hate to bragg on anything but when i was 15 i met this little girl and boy was she fine. i dated her about 3 years and then got married right out of high school.somewhere along the way we had 2 little ones (now 17 and 15) both girls and of course i think they are little knock outs like their mother.well the whole reason i'm writing this post is to ask why does my wife get prettier everyday and i just get wider and fatter? i swear that woman is more beatiful now than when we was in high school and for me heck all i done since high school is put on about 40 pounds and got ulgy. whatever the reason we just had our 19th year of marriage together working on 20.

Re: my wife an i
Congratulations on your 19 years. With all the things that can and often do go wrong in relationships, it's always nice to hear about marriages that do stand the test of time. It's obvious that you're very much in love, and I wish you both a long and happy life together.
It's funny that you posted this today. You see, when I was in the shower this evening, my wife was in the room getting ready to go out to the pool. We were gabbing over the torrent of water, and I made some corny-ass joke. Seriously, it was really not that funny at all and made so little sense that I almost didn't even get it. But she laughed. And I thought, "I love her laugh. And I love how she'll laugh at my jokes even when they're not funny."
That got me thinking about posting something on here about her, maybe a list like "Why I Love My Wife."
While I spend alot of time on here, seeking and sharing tips for improving our poker games, I also understand how important it is to always improve and sustain our relationships. We just celebrated our first anniversary this month, and we're looking forward to many, many more. Any advice from a seasoned veteran husband such as yourself is always welcomed and appreciated.
On the subject of "recommended reading" as it applies to this topic, I would recommend the book my sister got my wife and I for our wedding. It's a book called Project Everlasting, and it's a good read for anyone who loves the idea of a long, happy marriage.
As for the weight gain, I think that's one of the drawbacks that just comes along with love and riches. I've always been a skinny little SOB my whole life; now that I'm married I'm starting to grow the old tire. The positive side to it is that our wives are going to love us no matter what kind of wretched beasts we turn into, which is why we'll never stop loving them
Again, best wishes to you and your wife on a long and happy marriage.

Wow, I am impressed. I am jealous and impressed. But, although it is wonderful that you guys shared that with us all, the ones you should really be telling this is your wives.
Congradulations to the both of you. I hope your marriages last many many more happy years.

I ask everyone I meet that has been in a long term relationship like this the same thing. Since there seems to be a few of you ... I'll ask.
What is the secret?
