SCOOP event#19L at stars

will be playing today at 1pm est, prizepool is 250K but field will probably be ridiculously big. i am most likely going to be playing FTOPS event#7 on full tilt since it starts at the same time, its also a 250K prizepool but is a knockout tourny. depending on how good im running i might play SCOOP event#20 and FTOPS events# 8 and 9. will let you all know how everything goes. illphilll at stars and phillyphilly at full tilt.

lasted 3 and a half in both of them and fell short of the money. currently playing a satellite to SCOOP event#20 so will take 1 more shot today. it is a 2 day event so will have to leave work early if i go deep.

went 0 for 5 in SCOOP/FTOPS events last weekend, thinking about giving it 1 more shot with FTOPS main event if i'm feeling up to it tomorrow. i figured the big starting stacks would allow me to play tight and wait for big hands but i pretty much handcuffed myself the last hour in the events with a stack that i couldn't make moves with. will try and mix it up more and small ball suited connectors and trash when in position, my normal style of play, hopefully my results benefit.

lasted 3 hours but couldn't overcome the combination of being card dead and not taking advantage of my opponents. it sucks when you don't get cards but you have to find other means to accumulate chips and i wasn't able to. i had some deep runs in 5 of the 6 tournys but no itms so guess i will spend some time analyzing my play and making any necessary adjustments to better my results for the next time these series come around.

Phil you are a great player just keep playing like you normally do you will take a big one down soon enough
