Sorry, didn't get on before the tourney. I finished 285th for $.90. Didn't win many hands at all, but just melted away. Hope Donkhard members did better.

To all members who haven't heard or figured it out by now the Sunday Grand @ Doyles won't be this week. They are not having the Quick Draws either. I chatted with them about it... they are having some major software changes occurring and there will not be any this week. There also won't be any Bounty tournament either. I also got an email explaining the major changes taking place for the site. Here it is..

I wondered what was going on.

I just brought up my DoylesRoom just a little while ago. I wasn't allowed to log in! They are in the process of switching to a new software setup. I did the online chat to find out why I wasn't allowed to log in... they said that the software company that they are employing now and for the new switch-over won't allow US players to log in until they get the new setup in place. They said it would be about a week! Well, not being able to log in means just that... you can't play, bet, chat, watch ... nothing. If you have real money in there... that's just tough! You can't withdraw, deposit or anything. I'll bet this is making a lot of people very angry. I'm not exactly happy about it, but I guess there is nothing that can be done... except send an email complaint! It's a good thing we don't have a tournament scheduled there during this period.

What do my fellow Donkhard members think about this?

I like that there are more freerolls now, If you don`t have enough raked hands you just start out short stacked, and get more chips for raked hands.

I just tried it again with them.... they said no US players can log in yet until they get new system, because of legalities with egaming laws in some states. Apparently, though, Texans must be exempt. They wouldn't give me a specific day... just to say it should be sometime next week before I would be able to log in again.

Hope I don't miss out on too many good events. Well, I hope not too many donkhard members are being affected by this weird policy DoylesRoom is employing now.

i can log in but never seen this tourney under freerolls all they have is the 100 dollar ones been looking for it

Well.... I was able to log in tonight for the first time in a little while. Don't know if it will hold, but I'm able to get on now. These Sunday Grand Tourneys are listed under Scheduled Tournaments - Loyalty Tournaments. You get to play in them by qualifying in the top 300 of the nightly Quick Draws, which are listed under Scheduled Tournaments - Special. None of which are enabled right now and they say it will be next week some time before they are scheduled again.

At least I can log in now and play something and chat with poker buddies I've met on Doyles....

I think it's only certain states that are blocked from logging in. I'm in MA and have no problem but like the other posters said, there are no freeroll tourneys that are exclusive to Doyles Room, only the regular Microgaming network freerolls with thousands of players.
