if a member is traveling, happens to sit down at a table somewhere and
has an enjoyable enough experience to inspire a post ... this would be
the thread.

so where has been your favorite place to play poker, and why?

LOLGood story

I played video poker on the Boats in Lake Charles, La.
You could Double Down for Hi/Lo. after winning a hand on these macines. The only place I could find any like em in Vegas was Silver Dollar, Anyway I Left with 350 or so of the houses money that day.
It was a good time!

Well....most are my favorites. Any room that says "poker" before it are pretty cool. Although, my least favorite are the Indian reservations in Blackhawk, CO. They are 2-5 limit. Horrible. Could 2-5 L be the worst way to play hold'em?

I recently playes a a pretty cool casino in Central California called Tachi Palace, that has a faily decent poker room. It has probably 25 tables with a variety of limits, and there are a couple of bonuses that can make playing theree attractive. Of course there are bad beat jackpots (any quads or better beat will recieve attention + a table split) and "high hand " of the hour recieves $50.00 Hourly drawings for a pot added bonus for the table that wins the drawing...(they place an amount between 50-300 into the pot of the next hand and the winner scoops it), plus generous comp bonuses. See the link below...
