Late Tournament Decision
You're sitting with a wired pair of 4's in the hole. Your stack is at the tournament average with 130 players left, and there are 100 places paid.
A couple of players limp into the pot ahead of you. Including blinds & antes it sits about 1/5th of your stack. Instead of pushing all-in, you decide to call and see a flop. No one raises, and four other players see the cards.
Flop comes K - K - 8. No one bets, so the turn comes. 2. Again, it gets checked around, and the river comes a 4.
So you're sitting with a full house. UTG bets pot, which turns out to be about half your stack.
Do you raise the pot, do you call, or could you ever muster a fold in that situation?
Taking all this into consideration, what is your play at the pot?

I'm just calling. Hoping and praying that player UTG doesn't have KK, 88, K8, K2, or K4. Which I believe is what all could beat me.

Re: Late Tournament Decision
Okay, I guess I don't really know the player that's UTG. That is the only thing that might change my decision here. My best guess here is I call. I could not muster a fold here with what has come down. Raising now would be the only thing that could bring about a disaster. As Hoggie has said... there are quite a few possibilities that could beat my boat. Is it possible that he slow played with a K in hand? Of course it is. How likely is it? Depending on how UTG perceives how others play.... I'd say it's a fair chance he at least has the K. An awful lot of players will slow play a nice flop like that.. so overall, without knowing UTG, I just call... and if he beats me, I am still in there. If he doesn't have the best hand.. I still won a pretty decent pot.

My vote is all in!
very low likelihood that someone else has a full house here or quads here.

Re: Late Tournament Decision
personally i would call i clearly have a good hand but not the best possible hand i might have the nutts, butt dude may have the other 4withk lol or the other 2 kings and was waiting for a raiser u never know ? a call is enough!!!!!
44 and hitting a boat on the river is pushing it in the first place lmao !
win big pots loose small ones just call if u reraise u loose more if he winns
if u reraise and hes bluffing he folds so u get the callll money anyway
!!
