i'ver sobered up long enough to send off the first round of invitations. then it crossed my mind that i should have posted the tournament details ... they might be helpful, lol.

so .... here's the goods on the pitbull freeroll!

if you'd like to play in the tournament this saturday, there are seats available to be won. i'm still thinking about a short order forum challenge ... one that could be completed within 24 to 36 hours, as an example. got an idea, post it here!

update: the tournament is currently being rescheduled. i am also
requesting an explanation (beyond 'technical glitch') as to what
happened.

further updates will be posted as information is confirmed ... i interestingly await how this will unfold.

we finally have an update! ... but it is not a fortunate one, the tournament won't be happening. between software and communication issues, the tournament creation process could drag on indeterminately and requires more attention/energy than i can devote.

for example: i have yet to receive an explanation as to why the first tournament didn't run.

sorry to everybody else also excited for this tournament ... i did what i could.

i'll post another update on friday or so with the results of a request to have the tournament prizepool money returned to my account. my hopes for pitbull went up when i began dealing with fred bauer ... that hope has now waned and died, lol.

this isnt that private freeroll you held way back that got cancled is it?n if so are you saying that they cancled it but havnt put your money back in your account?

lol ... so here is the final update: a week has passed since informing pitbull (fred bauer) that i would not seek a third attempt at creating the plo freeroll, and requested the return of all funds to my account.

the average response time from fred to my messages was 24hrs or less for previous occasions. thus, it is now reasonable to assume that the lack of communication is deliberate.

so ... no explanations, no returned money.

were it significant enough, i'd try to get a pitbull boycott started. instead ... i'll post this for all our memebrs to read and refer to when deciding whether to play at pitbull.

it seems a.p. and u.b. have some company ... good luck at the honest tables everybody!
