Another First Place in Ladies Only Live

Well I missed a couple weeks at my regular tourney. Maybe the rest did me good. Got a few very lucky hands and managed to take down first for $550.00 from a field of 32. The turning point of my game was raising pocket q's and my opponent went all in (felt I had to call since I had her stack covered). Naturally she has pocket A's so I say oh well nice try. BUT low and behold I flopped trip queens which held up. What a lucky break and I went on from there to take it all. Was pretty happy with my overall play and I'm looking forward to going back next week.

Many is the time that a lucky break can send you on your way to a great finish. You played the hand correctly and got a little lucky and came out on top. You took advantage of it from that point on and took it down. My congratulations to you Tukie! WTG!
