aces vs ...

i was just playing the 80k satellite on pokerstars. 10000 started and we were down to 37. i had 215k (30th) - blinds: 10/20k, was on the button and raised to 60k seeing pocket aa for the second time in three hands (is this a bad omen for anybody else?), the cut-off player call, two others folded. flop 3 8 9 w. two diamonds ... i bet another 60k and get another call. turn - 3 ... i'm all-in and called to showdown ... the cut-off shows pocket threes.

it didn't cost me anything but time and is one of the more incredible bad beats .. a now funny story i can tell. made the top 1% and got nothing ... ha ha.

approximately 20 hands earlier i lost with aj vs. 10 10 ... to a 3 10 10 flop.
