Pitbull poker Empty Pitbull poker

Post by mattholdsme Sun Dec 14, 2008 1:23 am

I was just wondering what people thought about
the poker room pit bull. I have just recently signed up with them and
was wondering how everyone feels about it compared to the other poker
sites. Also is than any known pros that are sponsored through pit bull
or is it like party poker.

i play alot on pitbull, and usually pretty good at coming in the money. don't like the wait time, but thats flash poker for you. it would be nice if they came out with downloadable version, in due time hopefully

the software is problematic at points, but that's the only major issue i can think of currently. the cash games and tournaments are good ... along with the $10 credit with a new account, their freerolls run frequently and are less difficult than most to re-start a roll with. that is, if you (like me) your roll on a few hands of tilt.

donkhard also runs private freerolls there occasionally and low-stakes buy-ins ($1) too.

they also had a great monday night bounty tournament going for a couple of weeks. i entered one and was playing quite well until blowing up and losing everything in one poorly played hand ... very enjoyable game on the whole though, great field.

Well, it just seems like there are not enough players online at any one time.

I HATE waiting so long to pickup a game, which also cuts down on your choices of which game to play.

Also, might be just my computers (doubt it tho) but the flash software seems to hang up on me a lot, freezing up and its hard finding your game again.

Just feels like pre-Beta software, not real polished.
