yes i just upgraded the new version, and just registered for a gold chip tourney tonite. looks pretty good though. same graphics as sportsbook if i'm correct

Well hello, I just got back from a trip to Ohio. Took my wife to visit relatives. Missed all the turny action over the weekend! Anyway I just got onto Doyles... had to uninstall old Doyles and download the new. I can't say that I like what I see though. It's Sportsbook poker with Doyles name on it. I had to change my Doyles nickname from datsme53 to datsme63... so that is what my name on Doyles will be from now on. I have datsme53 on Sportsbook.... which is a site I played some last winter on and didn't like very much. Doyles was one of my favorites, but now that is sort of shot. They are doing some weird stuff to be in that poker network for sure. Loyalty Points earned on Doyles will become Gold Chips(250 Loyalty Points to one Gold Chip), sounds like a royal or should I say Loyal *&%#@%$ng.. lol!
They did transfer my real money account, but didn't fully explain what was happening to the site before doing all this. I would guess that more than a few of their account holders aren't pleased at all with all the changes for sure. They were a bit rude on the chat to me.... cutting off the conversation before I was finished. I was asking too many questions they still don't have answers to.. so they closed the chat window..... Didn't exactly please me... and probably angered some if they have done the same to them.
They have alltogether... done away with their buddy list and chat for now too from what they said. This won't make a lot of people happy including me. I have over 30 people I have been conversing with in friendly chat for over a year now... and they have cut that off without warning at all. Since they never allowed exchanging email addresses or any web addresses either in their chat.. this will make many people upset for sure who used the chat for conversation and setting up games too.... and if you already had an account on Sportsbook, like I do, you had to change your Doyles nickname in order to log in.
While these changes they are making might make it better for some US players to play on Doyles... it will likely anger or at least frustrate many players too. I liked Doyles as it was. We already have a Sportsbook poker site... didn't think we needed more of the same. I like the $5,000 freeroll to kick off the deal but I'm not so sure, other than that, what is good about this switch to something old. What do you Donkhard members think of the changes?

For those who really liked the old Doyle's Room style Eurolinx seems to be remaining on the old network and playing identically to the system we all knew and loved rt down to the 1pm freeroll.

i like eurolinxs they even have 2 freerolls on wed. at 145 and 745 for eurolinxs members only so the field is under 300 never had good luck on doyles it wont be missed .
