odd little bits that help

a few little do,s n donts that i use to some success...
never enter a table when i havnt watched the play for a round of blinds minimum
never pay the blind until its my turn..its just money thrown away
in the reverse i always wait until my last free blind to leave
i never show my bankroll..no matter the size...i always enter with around 30 blinds
i look for tables with stacks alot larger than mine...if the stacks are small and equal i dont sit
i set a cap and i stick to it...too many times i,ve kept playing and gave that big stack back his or her chips
i play within my means...trying to enter tourneys and sngs for the one time catch just doesnt cut it for me...i play at tables where there investment means the same to them as it does to me

look guys i,m no great player...i win a few i lose a few...these are just things i,ve learned that help me keep playing for cash.....oh one last thing.....if the site permits it...like say poker stars...i leave if i notice 2 or more players from the same area..i,m not saying its collusion,i,m just saying i dont do it...hope it helps
